About

Every game here takes place after dark in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina: a ridge trail above Cashiers, a log cabin with the wrong record in the closet, and a summer camp on its last night. They are first-person 3D horror with an 80s B-movie streak, and they all run in the browser with keyboard and mouse, gamepad or touch.

They are for anyone who grew up on cabin-in-the-woods movies and summer-camp slashers and likes the scares a little campy. Three of them you play alone. Fear Valley is co-op for 1 to 4 players, online with friends or with AI counselors in the empty seats.

About the asterisk: it is a trilogy of four. Dead Cabin: Final Girl is the long lost director's cut of Dead Cabin, the same cabin and the same night, this time played as Linda, with a different ending.

Cashiers After Dark

Your guide is gone, and your flashlight is the only edge you have.

You paid a guide to take you up the ridge above Cashiers to find a monster, and the monster found him first. Follow the trails through the dark woods on a five-level flashlight, from a red light to a beam brighter than the sun, and learn what hunts out there before it learns you.

Dead Cabin

Campy first-person horror in one mountain cabin, on one very long night.

Dash and Linda just wanted a quiet weekend, until Linda put on an old record she found in the closet. Shove whatever comes at you, grab whatever the cabin gives you and finish it with a heavy blow, while the cabin gets a little less like a cabin after every encounter.

Dead Cabin: Final Girl

The director's cut: one cabin, one night, and a boyfriend who will not stay buried.

You are Linda, and Dash just played the wrong record. Shove him off, run for the tool shack, take the shovel to him and bury him at the tree line, then survive the cabin until sunrise.

Fear Valley

An 80s summer-camp slasher for 1 to 4 players: fix the generators, stay out of its sight, then fight back.

It is the last night of summer at Camp Wynn Valley, the power just died, and something huge is walking the trails between the cabins. Get six generators running while it hunts you by sight and sound, pull each other off its meat hooks, then raid the camp owner's secret armory and hunt it down.

Where to start

If you have one evening, play Dead Cabin first, then Dead Cabin: Final Girl to see the same night from Linda's side. Cashiers After Dark is the slow, quiet one: play it with headphones, in the dark. Fear Valley is the one to bring friends to.

How to play
