Midnight Ramen

Rain taps on the awning, red lanterns glow over the counter, and neon shimmers in the puddles. Your little ramen cart is open, and the regulars are stepping out of the rain: a cat in a trench coat, a fox with a backpack, an otter in a yellow raincoat, a turtle grandma in her favourite cardigan.

Each guest walks up with an order bubble. Tap the broth, tap the toppings, hit SERVE. The faster the bowl lands, the bigger the tip. Every so often a golden customer steps up: get their bowl right and they pay triple tips. How much can you earn in one three-minute shift?

How to play

Press Open the Cart. A customer walks up with an order bubble: one broth plus a few toppings. Build the bowl and serve it before their patience runs out.

• Tap the broth (Shoyu, Miso or Tonkotsu)
• Tap each topping in the bubble: Noodles, Soft Egg, Chashu, Scallions, Nori, Fish Cake
• Tap SERVE. Faster bowls earn bigger tips
• Made a mistake? TOSS the bowl and start over
• Correct bowls in a row build a streak bonus
• Three upset customers close the cart early

Golden customers

Now and then a guest arrives glowing gold. Their tip is tripled when you get the bowl right, and a fountain of gold coins flies into your purse.

After the shift

The Shift Report shows tonight's earnings, bowls served, your biggest tip and best streak. Sign the guestbook with your name to join the Top Chefs high-score table.
