A dialogue RPG about two conquests, one gate, and the people caught between the stories.

Walk the same Toledo plaza as a Berber soldier in 711 and a Mozarab priest in 1087. Ask who gets paid, whose promises survive, and what a conquest means to the people who have to live with it.

Choose an archetype, listen to competing inner voices, and follow branching conversations through a city under new rulers. Roll two dice plus a skill to press an argument. Gather thoughts that strengthen your skills, then return to the gate when you have heard enough of the city’s stories.

How to play

Choose either chapter and one of its three archetypes. Each starts with a different balance of intellect, empathy, authority, and instinct.

Two lives, one plaza

Yidir, son of Aksil, is a Berber soldier trying to make sense of faith, conquest, and his share of the spoils in 711.

Esteban of Santa Justa is a Toledo-born Mozarab priest in 1087, caught between his parish, the old rite, and the city’s new authorities.

Play at your own pace
